Rule 4
Groups, Ranks and Positions in the Service
(1) Based on the nature of the work in the service, the minimum educational qualification required to perform that work, and the job specification, there will be groups as per Schedule-1, which include positions of the same nature within the service.
(2) The service shall consist of the following categories:
(a) Gazetted
(1) Specific
(2) First
(3) II
(4) Third
(b) Gazetted
(1) First
(2) II
(3) Third
(4) IV
(3) There will be posts as per Schedule-2 in the specific category of service.
(4) Graded and ungraded posts in different groups will be as per schedule-3.
